Vintage Eales of Sheffield "1779" claret or water pitcher with internal ice tube

Up for sale is this vintage Eales of Sheffield "1779" claret or water pitcher with internal ice tube. It features a diamond-point cut, pressed glass body and a silver-plated top and ornate handle. These items were often made in Italy and designed with a neoclassical style. Some versions of this pitcher include an internal tube for holding ice to keep the contents chilled without diluting them. This item is used however there are no cracks or mars on this item. The pitcher is 14" tall and 7 1/4" long and 5 3/4" wide.
