1940s Valentine Doll with Plaid ball gown skirt with red yarn fringe

1940s Valentine Doll with Plaid ball gown skirt with red yarn fringe. Doll measures 7 1/4" tall. Arms are posable, legs are not. It appears head was glued on. Arms hang out of their socket somewhat. Eyes are painted on. Dress is made of a taffeta type plaid material with red yarn ruffle at the bottom. Her dress needs some steaming to get the wrinkles out. The red bodice has a stain over her right breast. No maker's mark on dress. Shoes are painted on. Please see pictures for details and condition.
