Choice of Meerschuim 19th century Reliquary of John the Baptist with Lamb, Possibly St Agnes Praying next to Lamb and Jesus Christ With Crown of Thorns. Please read below and see pictures for details and condition.
A - John the Baptist in black oval wooden frame with painted gold wood roping circling a convex glass dome. This is a young John the Baptist with one hand on a lamb and the other holding a tall cross. Frame measures 4 3/4" tall, 4" wide and 1" in depth. There is some wear to the black frame. The back is covered with paper and has a metal ring to hang. The carving is in very good condition. Carving measures 2 1/2" tall and 2" wide.
B - Possible St Agnes Praying next to Lamb. Halo behind woman praying with Lamb next to her. On black wooden carved plank with decorative cream bead accents. Encased in a black wooden frame with convex glass dome. Plaque measures 7 1/4" tall, 3 5/8" wide and 1" in depth. Paper backing missing from back. Metal ring to hang. Carving in very good condition. Carving measures 2" tall and 1 3/4" wide.
C - Jesus Christ with Crown of Thorns. In black wooden oval frame with gold tone painted roping wood trim. Depicts a close up of Jesus Christ wearing His Crown of Thorns. Frame is in very good condition as well as the carving. Carving measures 2 1/2" tall and 2" wide. Frame measures 4 3/4" tall, 4" wide and 1" in depth. Paper backing with metal gold ring to hang.
