Rare 16 1/2" Vintage Metal Scapular Necklace Lockets that open - St. Simon Stock and Our Lady of Mount Carmel with Christ Child. The necklace measures 16 1/2" long. The chain is a pewter color metal. The scapulars are 3/4" tall and 5/8" wide. I believe they are silver plated--though some of the plating has worn off. One scapular is of St. Simon Stock on the front of the scapular. The back has the words embossed "Sign of Consecration" The other scapular is of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with Christ Child. The back of that locket says, " The Scapular of Carmel". The lockets are not hinged. They are like a box with a lid. They are somewhat hard to pull apart to open them. Inside are small pieces of brown wool material that are connected to the chain links.
