1971-1978 Fisher Price Play Family School with Original Accessories #923. Side of school says 1971. We believe this set was issued in 1976-1978. The school has a masonite base and a fold-down wall on the front that has a metal chalkboard on the inside. The roof above the fold-down wall has a flip-up flap. The roof is magnetic for the magnetic letters to stick to it. The school has a clock with red plastic movable hands above the door, and a chrome plated bell on top of the roof that rings beside the red carry handle. The lithographs are in very good condition. It has two trays: one for alphabet letters A-Z, another for the numbers 0-9 and original extra letters P,S,T,R,N,L.I (It is missing the original extra letter E). It also has more letters that were not included with the original set--L, M, S and the number 3. Other accessories original to the set include: 4 green student desks; yellow teacher's desk with lithograph; yellow teacher's chair; yellow swing set with 2 green swinging seats (1 single and 1 double seat); merry-go-round with 4 seat top that spins; yellow 2-step slide. There are 5 Little People figurines--they are all wooden and we are not sure they are original to the set; blue dress teacher, red base Afro-American boy with stamped hair and raised waistline "belt"--his body shows wear; orange base body boy with stamped hair - he shows wear; blue base girl with yellow braids and green girl with brown sculpted bob. Set also comes with original yellow hard plastic eraser with black foam--foam is disintigrating and one small piece of white chalk. No box. Please see pictures for details and conditions.
