1930s Celluloid Kewpie Bride and Groom Cake Topper on Plaster Base with Floral Arch and Bell. Measures 9 1/4" tall and 6 1/4" wide. Unfortunately, this once 90+ year old beautiful cake topper broke and I'm hoping someone will give it some tender loving care. The base is made of plaster and has broken in half. The floral design on the base is in many pieces but can be salvaged with some extra love. The netting inside the base is still intact. The 3 1/2" bride and groom are celluloid with moveable arms. Their feet have become unglued to the base. The bride is wearing a layered paper dress. She has a chenille headband and veil made of netting. She is holding a bouquet of flowers. The groom is wearing a paper tuxedo with tophat. There is a wired arch surrounding them with fabric leaves and flowers. Two silver papered flowers are near the top of the arch. A large silver bell tied to the arch with a ribbon. Price reflects base breakage. The cake topper does have discolorization from age. Please see pictures for details and condition.
